Mindel Spoke On Premarital Agreements to White Zuckerman Study Group |
On Wednesday, September 24, Steve Mindel spoke to White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky,
Luna, Wolf & Hunts Study Group on Premarital Agreements. Mr. Mindel prepared a
thorough presentation that included the five basic points to a Premarital Agreement:
- Premarital Rights
- Characterization of Earnings from Employment During the Marriage
- Characterization of Property Acquired During the Marriage
- Spousal Support Limitations
- Mandatory Estate Planning
The thirty attorneys and forensic accountants who attended
the Study Group were excited to take home binders filled with sample FMBK Cohabitation and
Premarital Agreements. |

graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University with a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish.
At Auburn, Ms. Green served as the President of the College of Liberal Arts and interned
for the Supreme Court of Alabama. She earned her J.D. from Southwestern University School
of Law, where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, the symposium editor
for the Journal of Law and Trade in the Americas, President of the Family Law Society, and
Southwesterns liaison to the American Bar Association. During law school, she
externed for the Honorable Roy Paul, a family law judge.
Ms. Green currently serves as the Treasurer and Homeless
Project Chairperson for the Beverly Hills Bar Association Barristers. She is also a
founding friend of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities ("LATLC"), an
organization dedicated to community service. Ms. Green is a member of Consumer Attorneys
Association of Los Angeles ("CAALA"). She has volunteered for the Harriet Buhai
Center for Family Law and served as a lecturer for a Continuing Legal Education seminar on
the subject of spouses fiduciary duties as interpreted in the case Marriage of
Feldman. |
