WELCOMES SUMMER ASSOCIATES KRISTEN HIRASHIMA AND PATIENCE AGBENYADZIE |

Kristen Hirashima and Patience Agbenyadzie
FMBK welcomes 2010 Summer Associates Kristen Hirashima and Patience Agbenyadzie. Almost 300 law
students applied for their positions, more applications than we've ever received.
Kristen is a third year law student at Loyola Law School and Patience is a third year law
student at UCLA School of Law. They will be working one-on-one with FMBK attorneys to gain
first-hand experience in the world of Family Law, Probate Litigation and Business
Litigation.
Nancy Burt and Evan Okamura are in charge of the Summer Law Clerk Program Committee. Nancy
has been practicing at FMBK for 10 years and Evan began his career at FMBK in the file
center 8 years ago and worked his way up through law school. With this experience in mind,
they wanted to create a special training program for the Summer Associates, which
includes: legal research and writing, drafting pleadings, responding to discovery
requests, client interaction, and attending mediations, trials, depositions and court
appearances.
