Cara Boroda is a Senior Associate at FMBK and has practiced family law exclusively since graduating from law school in 2010. Known for her empathetic approach and strategic thinking, Cara helps clients navigate emotionally charged legal matters by keeping them focused on their goals and the broader path forward. Her dedication to client care and deep understanding of family law make her a trusted advocate in cases involving custody, support, property division, and complex family dynamics.

As a mother of a daughter and twin boys, Cara understands the complexities facing families today, with both her keen understanding of the dynamics of family law and the inner-workings of the nuclear family.

Cara earned her law degree from Southwestern Law School, where she received multiple awards for academic excellence in family law. During law school, she clerked for two Los Angeles Superior Court family law judges—Hon. Scott M. Gordon and Hon. Mark A. Juhas—and also served as a law clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, conducting preliminary hearings.

She received her B.A. in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she served as an editor for the Law and Society Journal and a staff writer for the Daily Nexus, the university’s newspaper.
