Donna L. Shapiro
Donna L. Shapiro is an attorney in FMBK’s Trusts and Estates Department with a practice devoted exclusively to estate planning. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School in 1989 after attending Harvard Law School in 1986. Since her admission to the California State Bar in 1989, Donna has focused on wills, trusts, and estate matters.
Donna focuses in particular on the human and personal aspects of estate planning, and she approaches her practice both as a legal advisor and as a compassionate counselor. She is known for making the estate planning process both accessible and comfortable. Donna’s integrity and humor are key to guiding her clients through sensitive decisions regarding their family and legacy.
Before joining FMBK, Donna practiced at Rosenfeld, Meyer & Susman in Beverly Hills. Outside of her legal practice, she is an active community member, previously serving as President of University Synagogue and supporting causes such as AIPAC and the Cancer Support Community. Donna is also an avid reader and the founding member of two book clubs. She is married and has two adult sons.
